Nike’s Latest Air Force 1 Upstep Features Giant Arrow Detailing

Alongside chunky “dad shoe” silhouettes, big and bold branding is one of the hottest trends in the world of sneakers right now. Nike has brought many a boldly-branded silhouette to market with their extensive “Just Do It” packs over the last few weeks, but now they’re set to release shoes featuring another style of branding that’s equally as striking: the Air Force 1 Low Upstep.

Arriving in both a red and a black colorway, both shoes feature Virgil Abloh-esque printed white detailing that starts on the medial midsole before arching over the toebox, swooping down to the lateral midsole, and then bursting back up onto the quarter panel, finishing with a colossal arrow pointing at the collar. White “Uptown” embroidery appears on the heel—nodding to the Air Force 1‘s oldest nickname—and a cored-out Lunar Force style outsole—tonal on the red pair and blue marble detailed on the black pair—complete the adventurous look. Expect both of these Upsteps to arrive on Nike.com August 9th with a retail price of $140 USD.
