After Bodega Collaboration, The New Balance 997S Returns In Impressive Inline Colorways

The New Balance 997 has been the subject of a great deal of experimentation over the past few months, and that tinkering has produced compelling new silhouettes like the 997S, a modernized, sport-infused take on the classic runner. It’s served as the centerpiece of a highly desired Bodega collaboration, had another co-branded iteration teased by Deon Point of Concepts, and released in a handful of clean in-line colorways, the latest of which to appear is this new “Moroccan Tile” makeup. Combining sport and elegance in equal measures, this summer-ready palette features a two-tone blue and purple mesh base, overlaid with a premium white leather quarter that features a three-dimensional N logo. The midsole then calls upon NB’s signature ENCAP technology in a bold new fashion, combining a low-profile forefoot with a raised eggshell-colored heel that melds the brand’s past and present together in compelling fashion while offering exemplary comfort. This new hybrid is available now at the retailers listed below, so be prepared to shell out $130 USD if you’re looking to secure a pair.
