Nike Air Max Tailwind IV “Pure Platinum” Is Coming Soon

The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV is set to be a major player in the Swoosh Brand’s summer sportswear lineup this year, following in the footsteps of other retro Air Max lifestyle reissues like the Air Max 98 and Air Max 2 Light. As its full rollout draws closer and closer, it’s surfaced in a miscellany of makeups, the latest of which to appear is this clean and classic “Pure Platinum” colorway. Each piece of the shoe works in tandem to present its stately look, with the white mesh base, sail leather overlays, and soft grey accents combining to present a timeless light style that’s aged as gracefully as the Tailwind IV itself. The midsole follows suit with the upper, and a grey outsole with a small light blue Air Max badge — the design’s only deviation from its color palette — completes the look. These Tailwinds will release at the retailers listed below this May with a MSRP of $160 USD, so check out a full gallery of official images below while you wait for the drop.
