Official Images Of The Comme des Garçons x Nike Shox TL In Black

Much like their clothing, Comme des Garçons doesn’t abide by conventional limits when designing their collaborative Nike footwear, a free-thinking ethos that’s produced ultra-unique takes on everything from the Air Force 1 to the Air Jordan 1. Now, they’ve adding yet another feather to their well-heeled cap, thanks to a fresh take on the recently relaunched Nike Shox TL that’s dressed in a tonal black colorway. The upper is constructed of an ultra-fine black mesh that features unique frayed detailing around the seams and the quarter’s textured Swoosh. The only deviation from the tonal palette then arrives via a white co-branded hit on the tongue. Down below, a heel-to-toe Shox cushioning system layered in between two Pebax plates provides style, support, and comfort in equal measures. Although leaked teaser shots featured a gold CDG chain laid across the shoe’s throat, the official images do not, a potential indication that the extra embellishment may only arrive on pairs at select retailers or be a friends-and-family only adornment. Check out a full photo gallery below, expect these Shox TLs to release on Nike.com June 13th alongside an airy white makeup, and be prepared to dole out a handsome $350 USD if you’re looking to secure a pair.
