Pharrell Adds Sandals To The Mix With The adidas Adilette 2.0

Over Pharrell’s long collaborative history with adidas Originals, it’s become readily apparent that he has a way with sneakers. Now, we’ll see if he’s got the same magic when it comes to sandals, as the polymathic creator is set to release six special takes on the adidas adilette: a loud pink, a subtle black, a retro yellow, a refined green, a regal blue, and a classic white. Although the base and forefoot strap of the popular slides are left largely intact, they add a second loop to lock the heel and ankle in place, turning them from an after-gym accessory to a beefy design that offers all-day comfort and style. Each pair features P’s signature Hu hit embroidered on the forefoot strap and printed on the heel counter, while the footbed is equipped with a colorful anatomy design that any fan of the Human Race line is sure to be familiar with. Trefoil branding on each sandal’s lateral side completes the look. If you’re looking to spice up your footwear selection a bit, you’ll be able to do so on September 13th, when these sandals release for $90 USD alongside special packs of the SOLAR Hu Glide and Crazy BYW X.
