The Air Jordan 8 Retro SP With Colored Translucent Uppers Releases On September 18th

After making an unexpected arrival as a Dover Street Market exclusive, the bold Air Jordan 8 “Multi-Color” is now set to see a significantly wider retail release later this September. These special-edition Air Jordans start with a simple white leather, tan suede, and black synthetic base. However, the volume is quickly cranked to the max on their signature criss-crossing midfoot straps, which are constructed of a translucent plastic and alternate between a bright reddish pink with a debossed 23 hit on the lateral side/a cool blue on the medial side. Both are secured by completely clear hooks. Those aren’t the only whimsical embellishments present here, however: blue and yellow swatches sit under each strap’s open area, while more translucent detailing is provided by the heel overlays, dressed in yellow and reddish-pink. All three colors are brought together one final time on the chenelle tongue badge, and a black outsole with abstract multi-color detailing completes the look. Of course, all these extra tweaks come with an enhanced price tag — in this case, $225 USD. If you missed out on the Dover drop and are looking to secure a pair, you’ll be able to do so on September 18th, so check a store list below to see what retailers will have stock.
