Nike Revives The “Trouble At Home” Lightning Graphic On The React Presto

Although the Nike React Presto is indeed a brand-new silhouette, it often harkens back to the original Nike Presto for its colorway inspiration, and the latest product of that philosophy is this “Trouble At Home”-style makeup. A moniker that was first given to the original lightning-equipped Presto back in 2000, these new-jack shoes take the crackling, powerful purple-and blue print and apply it on a black base, just like their predecessors. However, things quickly get different thanks to a switch-up on the plastic midfoot cage, which presents a much more abstract shape than the OG style’s construction and adds extra flair with vibrant orange accents around the eyelets. The bright red insole equips a playful TV graphic, complete with a fuzzy screen caused by the outside’s electric storm. And of course, cushioning is provided by a full-foot React midsole that uses the same blue hue as the upper’s cage and offers a mix of ocean blue and black on its signature nubs as well. An official release date for these potent Prestos hasn’t been announced yet, but you can enjoy a full set of official images directly below and expect a Nike.com release for $120 USD later this fall.
