For one hundred years, the brand built by Ehrhardt Koch has evolved into one of the most globally recognized lifestyle brands, delivering hats for sports fanatics while expanding its breadth in the world of streetwear. In 2020, the global brand is celebrating its astounding 100th Anniversary with a curated series of special projects and cultural events including collaborations with the likes of Helmut Lang, Yohji Yamamoto, and Daniel Arsham, while an immersive exhibit at their neighboring Buffalo History Museum is scheduled to open this Fall.
As part of our SN Insider initiative, we were fortunate enough to work with New Era for a friends-and-family edition of the 9TWENTY cap inspired by a colorway with major significance in sneaker history. Hits of Infrared on the logo strap-back, an array of reflective accents, and a black base call back to a classic from 1991 – a personal favorite of the Sneaker News staff.
