The Mizuno Wave Rider 1 Adapts Miami-Friendly Colors

While Super Bowl LIV came and went, Miami-friendly colorways are here to stay, and have recently surfaced on the MIZUNO Wave Rider 1.

Launched under the “MIZUNO 1906” label, the chunky model combines the Japanese brand’s performance technology with a street-ready aesthetic. “Grey” mesh bases are faintly discernible underneath the plethora of suede overlays that cover them throughout the upper. Forefoot construction features “Green” paneling also found along the throat bridged with bright “Orange” underlays. The citrus hue also animates the top of the tongue, ankle opening and heel, but opts for a darker shade at profile RunBird logos. Elsewhere, the SoFlo palette adorns the otherwise plain midsole, as well as the outsole’s forefoot zones.

If you’re interested in picking up this Wave Rider 1, pairs are popping up right now across Japan for ¥17,600.
