The Nike Air Max 1 “Amsterdam” Is Releasing March 19th

City packs are nothing new in the world of sneaker culture, but in the past few months, no brand has put out quite as many as Nike, letting both its Air Jordan 1 Mid and AM90 loose on the world. Now, the imprint is booking tickets yet again, first revealing an Air Max 1 with London thematics and now showcasing a coinciding Amsterdam homage that effectively sits as the aforementioned’s tonal opposite. Hued in warm shades, the upper is a texturally diverse make-up of corduroy, high quality tumbled leathers, and suede whose palette and minute details do well to further nod to the city’s most signature accents. Overt references to the coat of arms appear in twos, with Xs stamping the toe cap in red and along the heel in matching neutrals; alongside, the heel embellishes more aggressively around the “Nike Air” as dark black embroideries bear a eagle eye resemblance to the iconic canals. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect to see its release on March 19th.

In other news, the Kentucky Dunks are dropping this week.
