To say Nike has pulled out all the stops for the Air Max 90‘s 30th Anniversary is an understatement. In the first three months of the milestone year alone, Tinker Hatfield’s design has emerged in both familiar and new ensembles, from “Volt” makeups to a “Bubble Pack” release. And while The Swoosh’s celebratory endeavors have primarily been solo efforts, the brand has also tapped collaborators like UNDEFEATED along the way. It’s in this vein that the Air Max 90 Duck Camo has been created.

Reminiscent of a pair co-created with atmos in 2013, this Air Max 90 features various shades of green camouflage across its uppers. While the titular pattern is isolated to leather overlays, the wildlife aesthetic spills over onto profile Swooshes as these iconic logos are wrapped in black reptilian scales. Elsewhere, the seven-year-old script is flipped: Mesh toe boxes and collar areas, tongue labels and outsoles all forgo dark arrangements for the AM90’s debut “Infrared” composition. Conversely, TPU eye stays, side “AIR MAX” windows, heel logos and Air unit enclosures dress up in covert schemes.
