First Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air”

First Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air”

Will Smith has long been influential — even before the term blew up in relation to social media. His role on the hit sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” near skyrocketed his fame, and though the actor has since changed his style, the in-universe character still remains an often referenced pillar of late 90s fashion. Alongside baggy jerseys, wild prints, and some striking jumpsuits, Smith also quite heavily wore a set of Air Jordan 5s, the “Grape” colorway effectively becoming a core cast member. Jordan Brand obviously aware, they’ve since spent the past few years paying homage and 2020 is set to do the same with the AJ5 Bel-Air. Though at its heart a tweaked version of the aforementioned icon, the pair adds some eclectic retro additions such as the wildly aggressive mosaic at the inside lining as well as the mismatched Jumpman embroidery that stamps the heel. The side, which just subtly reveals a similar “23,” then embellishes with the same volt green on the left and pink on the right. Grab a quick look at these here and expect more images and release info to surface very soon.

In other news, a SoleFly Air Jordan 10 is set to celebrate the store’s 10th anniversary.
