Rui Hachimura Gets His Own Air Jordan 34 “Japan” PE

Rui Hachimura Gets His Own Air Jordan 34 “Japan” PE

Since arriving on the basketball market last Fall, the Air Jordan 34 has built up quite the resume for itself in terms of adventurous player exclusives as it has been reformatted with themes such as The Office for Blake Griffin, Paranorman for Jayson Tatum, as well as a “Bayou Boys” offering made for their prized rookie in Zion Williamson. And now, another one of the Jumpman’s newest roster members — Rui Hachimura of the Washington Wizards — is next in line to get his own PE. Fittingly dubbed the “Japan”, these are a direct nod to the rookie’s Japanese background, as its overlays split between each foot with cultural graphics. The left foot comes clad with multi-colored/tile-esque patterns, perhaps interpreting that of an ancient temple, while the right foot is treated with floral patterns symbolic of the Asian country’s notable cherry blossom seasons. Moreover, the right side tongue comes stamped with a samurai icon that references Hachimura’s last name initial and signature logo. So far, these are slated to drop exclusively in Japan, but keep it locked as we receive more info on its official release.

For other news, here’s an official look at the upcoming orange camo Air Max 90.
