JJJJound Further Teases Their Green New Balance 992 Collaboration

JJJJound Further Teases Their Green New Balance 992 Collaboration

From digital mood board to influential design studio, JJJJound has come a long way since its founding — the imprint currently a cult icon among a select audience. Nalgene bottles, blank sweats, and all things miscellaneous have become their signature, and as they collaborate with brands on a much larger scale, we see their vision transition from simple products to full-fledged releases with names like Reebok and New Balance.

The latter — who owe quite a bit to Justin Saunders and his team — are set to welcome the Montreal-based label once again, inviting them to dress up the newly revived 992 silhouette. Far distinct from their now elusive 990, the offering highlights a different tonal spectrum. Rather than doused in neutrals, the upper’s suede near entirely covers in a forest green suede, accents layered atop contrasting with hits of dark navy. “JJJJound” sits embroidered along the heel tab in characteristic subtlety, finishing in tandem with the laces and tooling who bear a striking vintage effect.

Grab a quick look at what JJJJound teased via social media, and then sit tight as we may still have a bit to go before we see an official release.
