Brain Dead’s Next Converse Project Includes Double-Stacked Chuck 70s And A Bosey Boot

After linking up with Reebok for a Pump Court earlier in the Fall, Brain Dead is back in Converse’s hands, the streetwear label now ready to officially present not only their stacked Chuck 70s but also an eccentric take on the Bosey Boot.

The latter, which is a bit more typical relative to its high-top complement, dresses rugged as it coats its rubberized tooling in a dark black. Above, a sheer film of mesh adds a slight filter to the cow prints and green-tinted Flywire a layer under. Then, to finish, Kyle Ng’s signature head logo is stamped atop the tongue tab.

By comparison, the upcoming Chuck 70 — whose options range from pattern-heavy to neutral — is far more aggressively modified. The objective focus, the tooling, is cut and spliced multiple times over along its side, connecting red and navy foxing stripes over and over to the heel’s split emblem.

Grab an on-white look at both silhouettes here and expect a release to hit select retailers and likely Converse.com on November 19th.
