The Air Jordan XI Concord was retroed in October of 2000, five years after the initial release.  Michael Jordan wore these upon his return to the Chicago Bulls after his first retirement, which was incited by the sudden and tragic murder of his father. Many thought Jordan might’ve lost a step, but the naysayers were wrong; he led the Bulls to a NBA-record 72 wins in his first full season after his return, a record that still stands today. The Concord nickname actually comes from the colourway; the Jumpman logo on the heel, traction on the sole, and the minute Jumpman on the tongue are all Concord blue. Being an original colourway, the Concord XI left shelves instantly, and current market value is around $350. The closest thing to a re-retro we’ve seen is in the DMP Air Jordan XI, which in itself isn’t easily attainable. Pics via Kixclusive.
