Nike Kobe 8
The Nike Kobe 8 is the eighth signature sneaker for Kobe Bryant produced by Nike and designed by Eric Avar. In 2023, the silhouette returned in Protro form, iterating on the original design with modern performance technology developed in its time off the shelves. The model officially re-launched in August with the all-white “Halo” colorway.
In 2024, the Kobe 8 Protro will be one of Nike Basketball’s most important releases, with several styles already confirmed to drop throughout the year. The “Venice Beach” and “Mambacita” editions already became two of Nike Basketball’s biggest releases of the year before Summer even began. While there’s plenty of room and plenty of time for similar themed additions to add to the slate, a a set of lowkey “Team Bank” styles including “Lakers Home,” “Hollywood Nights” and “Wolf Grey” colorways highlight the model’s most anticipated down the stretch.
