The New Balance 1700 Returns In Its Original Japan-Exclusive Colors

The New Balance 1700 Returns In Its Original Japan-Exclusive Colors

Though they recently announced their finely crafted 1300JPJ, New Balance Japan is quick to prepare the return of yet another age-old icon: the 1700 in its Japan exclusive colorway. A decade since its last appearance, the offering brings nostalgia in a package true to the source material. The tooling is relatively ordinary as it uses the Made in USA pairs as a point of reference, while the upper ushers in every detail the original brought in 2010. Leathers display an overt quality in their dark grey shades while complementing mesh lines underneath in seldom; adjacent, subtler accents of navy are spread across the vamp, ankle, and the various branded embroidery, setting a neutral baseline for the metallic gold hardware and matching “N” logos to stand apart. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive overseas on July 10th.

In other news, a another WMNS New Balance 327 was revealed yesterday.
