Nike Names Sprunk VP of Product

NEW YORK — Nike Inc. has named Eric Sprunk to the newly created role of VP of product. Jan Singer will succeed Sprunk as VP of footwear.

The athletic giant said in a press release Thursday that Sprunk, 44, will be responsible for all Nike brand product across the company’s footwear, equipment and apparel engines, from design and development to manufacturing. Sprunk has worked for Nike for 15 years, holding senior financial, product and global management roles. He will report to Nike Brand President Charlie Denson.

Singer joined Nike in 2004 and most recently served as VP of footwear sport culture. In her new role, she will be responsible for creating and executing Nike’s global footwear creation strategy.
