Louboutin’s Beauty Line Lets You Match Shoes To Nails

For its first foray into cosmetics, Christian Louboutin has revamped its digital platform to support the brand’s debut line of nail polish, dubbed Rouge Louboutin.

The site, which features a video by David Lynch depicting the imaginary, ivory-colored city of “Loubiville,” offers users the chance to shop different pairs of shoes based on their polish selection.

Currently, the brand’s signature crimson is the only colorway, but an additional 30 shades are set to debut on Aug. 31.

Christian Louboutin Beauté partnered with New York-based Batallure Beauty to create the line. The nail polishes retail for $50 apiece online and at Saks Fifth Avenue, and will soon roll out to Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom and Sephora.
