All eyes were on Angelina Jolie this spring as she hit the red carpet to promote her film “Maleficent,” wearing personalized heels made by Christian Louboutin.
As of this winter, they can be yours.
On Thursday night, the designer announced via Instagram that he had “joined forces” with Jolie to create Malangeli, a ruby red patent and mesh pump inspired by the actress’ Disney role.
“It is exciting to work with someone who has such a strong aesthetic and character,” Loboutin said. “Getting to know Angelina through a fun collaboration has been one of my greatest pleasures.”
The sculpted wedge features what the designer refers to as a “tendril of smoke” curling up the heel, and was created in the luxury label’s Paris atelier.
Available in red or black patent leather, the shoes can be preordered from October 20 at Louboutin’s flagships in New York, Hollywood, Calif., London, Hong Kong and Paris, with profits going to benefit SOS Children’s Villages, which aids orphaned and abandoned children.
