Kerry Washington doesn’t exactly share a shoe closet with Olivia Pope.
“This season we are [featuring] a lot of Dior footwear and Manolo [Blahnik],” the “Scandal” star shared at the recent Ace Awards.
Washington walked the red carpet with the show’s costume designer Lyn Paolo — the pair was being honored as Influencers. But when asked about any overlap, her answer was much more simple.
“No, not really,” she quipped. It sounds like the actress lives her everyday life in more casual styles.
“I have my Birkenstocks that I still love, and they have come around, too,” she said. “But I don’t wear them with socks.”
Perhaps the well-known runway trend is a bit too scandalous for Washington.
