Under Armour’s New App, Plus More to Watch

Under Armour has a new app for the New Year.

Today, the athletic brand launched the product at CES: UA Record. The app is designed to track your fitness activity, connect with a community and keep your goals on track.

“UA Record offers everyone of all fitness levels the ability to proactively manage their health and fitness,” Kevin Plank, Under Armour’s founder and CEO, said in a statement. “By syncing the thousands of fitness-tracking devices and apps onto its open platform and creating a visual dashboard of your data, UA Record is a simple and empowering tool designed to help people lead healthier and more active lives.”

What are a few other recently launched retail apps to track?

1. Finish Line, Winner’s Circle: This program allows you to track your points, rewards and offers. Additional features include order tracking, store information and new product posts.

2. Nordstrom, Next: Thanks to this technology, salespeople can now text their customers with product recommendations, sales reminders and merchandise images.

3. Macy’s: In November, the retailer launched its latest app, which lets customers snap fashion photos of outfits they like and upload them. Then, Macy’s helps the customer find similar inventory that’s available for purchase.
