Finish Line Makes Omnichannel Hire

The Finish Line Inc. made another step toward boosting its digital presence with the hiring of a new chief omnichannel officer and EVP, Imran Jooma.

Jooma joins Finish Line from Sears Holdings Corp., where he served as president of online, marketing, pricing and financial services. In the past he also served in executive e-commerce positions for OfficeMax and Circuit City.

“As the expectations of our customers continue to evolve, it’s critical for Finish Line to raise the bar in delivering and exceeding those expectations,” said Sam Sato, president of the Finish Line, in a release. “We’re thrilled to have Imran join Finish Line and are looking forward to the expertise and experience he brings to this position. Imran will lead our more unified and strategic approach to a holistic customer experience.”

In the past several quarters, Finish Line has ramped up digital efforts. The new Winners Circle app debuted at the end of 2014, and the company also announced a new digital-focused store format in Orlando at the Mall at Millenia.
