H&M Unveils Katy Perry Holiday Campaign & Plan To Close On Thanksgiving Day

It’s a very Katy Perry Christmas at H&M, and naturally that includes red lipstick, lots of sequins, standout footwear and, of course, new music.

The singer appears in the holiday campaign for the chain with a new commercial landing on Nov. 23. Included in the debut: a new Katy Perry song called “Every Day Is A Holiday.” The song is playing in-stores now and debuts later in the season for the rest of us.

If you’re still looking for your holiday fix, Perry shows off the new holiday collection in the print campaign. Festive Christmas sweaters and apparel are a highlight, but also a pair of metallic high-heeled gladiator sandals.

In addition to dropping the Katy Perry images and collection, H&M made another big announcement: For the first time, H&M’s U.S. stores will close on Thanksgiving. The move comes two weeks after outdoor retailer REI garnered a slew of buzz and social media raves for its decision to close on both Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
