Luxury brand Saint Laurent today opened its renovated New York flagship, located at 3 East 57th Street.
The store, according to the company, mirrors the structural and architectural aesthetics used in the brand’s other doors around the globe — elements that reflect the style of creative director Hedi Slimane.
The store, originally opened in 2003, is the brand’s largest U.S. location. The renovated space now spans 14,000 square feet, increasing in size to three floors, from two.
The newly done space features the “full lifestyle brand experience of men’s and women’s product” on the first floor, with women’s shoes, accessories and ready-to-wear on display on the second level. The third floor, meanwhile, is dedicated to men’s offerings.
The opening of the store, which took almost a year to renovate, follows on the heels of Saint Laurent’s newest collection: sneakers.

The luxe label revealed the sneakers, priced at $395 a pair, earlier this week. The kicks are part of the label’s Surf Sound collection, which will be available in the New York store by the end of November.

The sneakers, which boast a roughed-up look, come in calfskin leather. Each pair also is being sold with one-of-a-kind laces. Some feature stud embellishments, while others display embroidered phrases such as “yeah baby.”
Saint Laurent has another New York boutique, located on Greene Street. That door opened in 2013.
