Adidas is adding yet another sneaker re-release to its growing roster. The Superstar 80s Primeknit — which will retail for $140 USD — features the style’s familiar signature shell toe cap and three side stripes but is reimagined in a knitted upper.
The Superstar 80s Primeknit will be available on Aug. 1 at select Adidas Consortium stores, as well as at retailers No. 42 Paris and No. 74 Berlin.

A nod to the original Superstar from the 1980s, the new style offers better breathability via an enhanced moisture-wicking fabrication. The athletic brand will offer the style in two colorways, including black with white stripes and white with black stripes.
Adidas has been re-releasing several of its staple sneaker styles. In addition to its high-end partnerships with designers like Rick Owens and Raf Simons, who offer more avant-garde takes on its classic styles, Adidas recently released a Superstar Supercolor Pack in collaboration with singer Pharrell Williams.
