Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are new parents to a baby girl. Enter lots of baby shoes.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Arlo Day Brody, yesterday to the delight of fans of both “Gossip Girl” and “The O.C.”
Footwear News searched the baby shoe market and found some stylish options for the new addition, from a leopard look by Babywalker to ballet flats by Block to Ugg booties and even a mini version of the Air Jordan. Another fun look: kids’ skeleton slippers from Mara & Mine.
Meester is certainly well-heeled — the star gravitates toward strappy and standout stiletto styles. She is also not afraid of color or fun embellishments, such as a bold canary yellow or beading touches.

The actress also recently teamed up with Many Hopes (which helps prevent child poverty in Kenya) to auction off some items in her closet, including gray suede Yves Saint Laurent pumps.
Earlier this year, Meester also made a mark on the music scene with the launch of her album “Heartstrings.”
