The year is coming to an end and 2015 was all about the shoefie. Celebs from Kim Kardashian to Eva Chen could not resist turning the camera lens from their faces to their shoes to capture the perfect shoefie on Instagram.
The Kardashians were proven experts, showcasing the coveted Yeezys and often debuting new colorways before anyone else.
While many celebrities got their hands on a pair of FN’s Shoe of the Year and showed them off on social media, Kim Kardashian had one the best shots of the shoes all year. The reality star Instagrammed a pair of one-of-a-kind and pint-sized Yeezy Boost 350s in the original gray colorway, which received one million likes.
Kendall Jenner not only had the most-liked photo of 2015, but she had some memorable shoefie shots, as well. Four months ago, Jenner joined her sister Khloe Kardashian in a trip to Mexico to visit the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation. The baby tigers provided the perfect backdrop for Jenner to snap a shot of her faux-snakeskin booties. Another top photo from Jenner featured a classic pair of white Adidas Stan Smiths sneakers and the pages of Vogue starring Jenner, Justin Bieber and Gigi Hadid.

The NBA got in on the shoefie action with Stephen Curry leading the pack. Curry posted his adorable father and daughter photo op that detailed his Under Armour Curry One Dark Matter basketball shoes. The Houston Rockets’ Dwight Howard also had a great shoefie that featured custom Del Toro Minion shoes for the “Minions” movie premiere in July.
Another notable mention goes to Lady Gaga. The “AHS: Hotel” actress Instagrammed a photo of her three pairs of Alexander McQueen Armadillo booties, worth $295,00, purchased by her fiancé Taylor Kinney.
