While the stylish sisters have come into their own shoe tastes — Beyoncé only wears top luxury labels, while Solange opts for more emerging designers — the two are unified by their love of skyscraper heel heights and eye-catching details.
Beyoncé’s favorite designers run the gamut from Fendi and Christian Louboutin to Giuseppe Zanotti, the star’s most-often-worn designer. Her latest style by Zanotti: a Western-buckled mule style, fresh from the designer’s spring ’15 collection. While the megastar rarely gets it wrong in classic designer heels, we at FN would like to see more variety of styles, as the singer rarely deviates from her stiletto pumps.
Solange, debatably more of a risk-taker in terms of footwear, opts for eye-catching styles from Aquazzura and Brother Vellies, a rising New York-based label. She was recently spotted in Rochas’ pompom-fringe slingbacks, fresh from the spring ’15 runway. Her go-to silhouette: Stuart Weitzman’s classic Nudist style, which Solange even sported on her wedding day.
