Brie Larson has been dubbed the new “it” girl, and even if she’s not a fan of the term, she sure is making waves in Hollywood. When asked recently what she thought of the title, Larson deadpanned, asking, “What is ‘it’? Who was ‘it’ before ‘it’? And when does ‘it’ go away? When did I get ‘it’? Who’s going to take ‘it’ away?”
The actress has earned the “it” girl title for her performance in the film “Room,” for which she is a heavy favorite to win an Oscar. So far, she’s been nominated for SAG and Golden Globe awards. She also starred alongside Amy Schumer in “Trainwreck,” showing off her comedic and dramatic acting chops.
After receiving the Golden Globes nod, she posted on Instagram, “Hearing the @goldenglobes nominations this morning reminded me of all the hard work and dedication we put into this project. As people we must keep trying, evolving and participating in this life without knowing what the future holds. Sometimes it pays off in a very surreal way. I am so filled with love for the many people who helped make this film the beautiful thing that it is.”

With her Oscar campaign in full gear, Larson has been hitting red carpet after red carpet to promote the film in statement shoes. Paul Andrew seems to be a go-to for Larson — she was seen in the Uptown pump at the premiere of “Room.”
She also is a fan of Paul Andrew‘s Chrysler design, which she wore during the Toronto Film Festival, and the Zenadia style.
Other designers Larson wears include Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin.
