Just when one would think it’s not possible for the Yeezy hype to get any bigger, Chris Brown has amped it up even further.
This morning, the singer posted a photo on Instagram of red Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s with the caption, “Had to dye dem.” He also added the hashtag #500, which has us wondering whether the next release could be a Yeezy Boost 500. Brown is currently on his One Hell of a Nite Tour with Kid Ink, Omarion, Fetty Wap and Teyana Taylor.
Still, Brown isn’t the first to be seen with red Yeezys. Earlier this summer, Diddy performed at the BET Awards with artists from his Bad Boy Entertainment label for its 20th anniversary wearing red Yeezys. At the time, it was thought that the shoes were a one-off, but now we’re not so sure.
Fifteen minutes before his performance, Diddy posted on Instagram and Twitter, asking his followers if he should wear the gray pair or the red pair.

Brown performed last week in Buffalo, N.Y., wearing Yeezys, though the photos he posted are in black and white, making it difficult to tell what color the shoes are.
