Diane Kruger is one leading lady in Hollywood who we’re used to seeing take big risks the red carpet.
The Germany-born star doesn’t always pick the flashiest shoes, but she almost always finds the pair that accentuates her outfits just so.
When Kruger hit the red carpet earlier this year in a feathered dress by Chanel, she picked a classic pair of Gianvito Rossi Portofino sandals as the perfect accent. The shoes helped to ground what could have quickly become a look gone “too much” too quickly.
Another favorite part of Kruger’s styling is her ability to play with high and low labels. While out and about with partner Joshua Jackson in June, the star grabbed a pair of orchid-colored Nicholas Kirkwood pearl sandals to match with her Forever 21 graphic culottes. And more bonus points for the actress and fashion maven: She also often steps out in unexpected designers, often embracing unique labels like Kirkwood or Edgardo Osorio’s Aquazzura.
