Emma Stone Wears Paul Andrew At ‘Irrational Man’ Premiere

Red carpet regular Emma Stone was summery chic at Thursday’s premiere of Woody Allen’s Irrational Man in Beverly Hills. Stone wore a Giambattista Valli white dress with floral embroidery.

She kept the floral theme throughout her look, choosing a pair of Paul Andrew China Club Floral silk crepe Kashi pumps from the pre-spring ’16 collection. The silk crepe ankle-strap pump is printed with a pattern inspired by the well-known restaurant China Club in Hong Kong and customized by Andrew.

“I really appreciate Emma’s style,” Andrew told FN. “She’s so playful, feminine and daring; these floral print pumps are the perfect compliment.”

The black-with-blue-and-white print on Stone’s pumps was also seen on Andrew’s Wuwei wedge. In November, Andrew was named the 2014 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner, which granted him $300,000 to invest in his label and a yearlong mentorship with an industry heavyweight.

Andrew was also nominated for the Swarovski Award for Accessory Design. After receiving the nomination, Andrew said, “I’m over the moon. What a great honor it is to be nominated. It really feels like the CFDA is behind me. Winning the Fashion Fund completely changed my business in such a short matter of time, but again, it just feels like such an honor.”

The designer was also named “Launch of the Year” at the 2013 FN Achievement Awards.

His designs have been spotted on celebrities such as Stone, Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwyneth Paltrow and Emmy Rossum, to name just a few. Ciara wore his Matrix sandals in London for the Fashion Retail Awards on Thursday.

The publicity from his award certainly seems to be paying off.
