Janet Jackson opened her Unbreakable World Tour in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Monday night, giving us a glimpse at her sneakers, which were custom-made by Giuseppe Zanotti.
The white high-tops with an oversized tongue have several black straps and gold accents. Jackson paired the sneakers with Michael Jackson-esque white harem pants and a sparkly white top. Jackson’s backup dancers are also wearing the Zanotti sneakers on tour.

“I am thrilled to have been asked by Janet to create the shoes for her tour,” said Zanotti. “She has been a great friend for many years, and I have the utmost respect for her as one of the most iconic and outstanding artists and style icons of our time.”

On her tour, Jackson is performing songs from her new album — her first in seven years — which is set to drop this fall. Jackson wore Giuseppe Zanotti Coline fringe peep-toe booties on her new album cover.
Zanotti has recently designed custom shoes for Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj and FKA Twigs as well.
Jackson’s special-edition sneakers will be available for purchase in select Giuseppe Zanotti stores and wholesale outlets during the tour.
