The LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles brought out Hollywood heavyweights to honor artist James Turrell and Mexican director Alejandro Iñárritu. Kim Kardashian West, Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Campbell, Diane Kruger and more attended the Gucci-sponsored event.
Kim Kardashian West and Naomi Campbell arrived with Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci. Kardashian West, who is due to give birth next month, wore a Givenchy sheer ensemble similar to the one she donned for the Givenchy show at New York Fashion Week. Campbell wore a dress fresh from the Givenchy spring ’16 runway.
Many of the celebs were decked out in head-to-toe Gucci, including Gwyneth Paltrow, who wore a spring ’16 mini dress and black suede platform sandals. Salma Hayek, Chloe Sevigny, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Jared Leto all wore Gucci looks.
Another standout style was seen on Rachel Roy, who wore a teal Tamara Mellon fringe dress paired with Roger Vivier sandals with the brand’s signature jeweled buckle.

The gala, which is in its fifth year, is co-chaired by LACMA trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio. Proceeds from the event support LACMA’s initiative to bring more film to its programming.
LACMA is also partnering with Farfetch for the 50th anniversary of ‘Wear LACMA.’ Nineteen Los Angeles-based designers created exclusive pieces for the line, which is inspired by a selection of works in LACMA’s permanent collection.
