Here’s hoping that “Fuller House” gets fuller — with the addition of the Olsen twins. Netflix has confirmed that “Full House” is coming back in a spin-off. But Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the twins who famously played Michelle Tanner on the ’90s sitcom, are still in talks regarding guest appearances.
As children, the girls had ’90s-style down pat, with Mary Janes — particularly paired with bobby socks — and Converse sneakers making frequent appearances.
Now, the 28-year-olds are successful designers who run multiple fashion lines and make headlines with their own style choices on a daily basis.
The twins’ acting careers slowly dissolved as they got older, but fashion took over their focus, and in 2006, they launched their brand, The Row.
Just six years later, the CFDA named them Womenswear Designer of the Year. The Olsen twins also took home the award for Accessory Designer of the Year in 2014, and once again, Ashley and Mary-Kate have received two CFDA nominations for Womenswear Designer of the Year and Accessory Designer of the Year for 2015.
The two are currently co-creative directors of Italian sneaker brand Superga and have collaborated with the footwear label to launch a range of sneakers under their The Row label.
