Nick Cannon’s Statement Sneaker Shoefies On Instagram

In honor of Nick Cannon‘s birthday, FN rounds up the sneakerhead’s standout sneaker shoefies on Instagram.

The “America’s Got Talent” host is no stranger to the spotlight when it comes to his shoes. Cannon recently took part in a friendly social competition with Chris Brown —  all the decide who had the better sneaker closet.

Cannon showed off his New York City closet filled only with Jordan Brand kicks. This prompted Brown to post a photo of his own, featuring his room dedicated entirely to sneakers and clothes, writing to Cannon, “I shall lead you to the promise land!”

It’s obvious Cannon is a major fan of Air Jordan and Nike kicks since both brands make up the majority of his shoe shots on social.

Cannon also prefers a throwback when it comes to his sneaker game. He’s posted shoefies of Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air More Uptempo shoe, Bo Jackson’s 1989 Nike Air Trainer SC and Dan Marino’s Nike Air Max Speed Turf sneakers.

After wearing a pair of $2 million Tom Ford, diamond encrusted shoes on the finale of “America’s Got Talent,” we now know Cannon isn’t shy when it comes to donning flashy footwear.

Case in point:  Cannon took a shoefie of his Air Jordan 6 Retro Champagne sneakers. The green and gold Jordans represent Michael Jordan’s first NBA title complete with a gold championship ring lace-lock.
