Many of us know actress and LGBT activist Laverne Cox as her “Orange Is The New Black” character, Sophia Burset. But on the red carpet, Cox is one of a kind for her footwear style.
Cox has had several statement-shoe moments in the past couple of months, from the Screen Actors Guild Awards to press tours for her hit Netflix show.
The actress doesn’t go over the top with her choices, but she does seem to have a preference for heels and studded details. Whether she’s rocking pink Valentino Rock Stud heels or studded Christian Louboutins, Cox definitely plays favorites when it comes to a feminine silhouette with edgy details.
She also shows big love for shoes with a cutout or strappy, feminine styling, which is usually the perfect compliment to her chic, often-tailored dresses.
