It seems Rihanna is poised to take over New York. This summer, she was spotted hitting the recording studio and partying all night. So it comes as no surprise that she hosted an exclusive party to kick off New York Fashion Week in signature Ri Ri style, inviting big names in fashion and entertainment.
Her party, at New York’s newly opened Edition Hotel, was sponsored by the Jay Z-owned Roc Nation record label. So far, there’s no evidence that Jay Z and Beyoncé attended. Pharrell showed up, wearing black Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers, while Kim Kardashian West wore a pair of over-the-knee boots that are apparently part of the Yeezy Season 2 collection.

Rihanna wore a white dress with Sophia Webster Nicole fur D’orsay sandals with leopard-print brocade detailing. Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas were also there. Hadid wore a red silk mini dress from Tommy Hilfiger’s fall ’15 collection and black chunky sandals. Models Candice Swanepoel, Coco Rocha, Jourdan Dunn and Lindsey Wixson were also in attendance. Wixson added a pair of Proenza Schouler’s oversized fishnet stockings from the fall ’15 collection.
