Celebrity Shoe Style: ‘Scream Queens’ Red Carpet Premiere

The young stars of Ryan Murphy’s latest killer comedy-horror series — “Scream Queens”— made an appearance for the show’s premiere on Monday night in Los Angeles. Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Nick Jonas were in attendance and even joined the “Scream Queens” villain, the Red Devil, for some red carpet fun.

Roberts stars as Chanel Oberlin, the queen bee of Wallace University’s most elite sorority house, Kappa Kappa Tau. “She isn’t exactly the nicest person, definitely not warm and fuzzy,” Roberts told Variety. “She’s a bitch, for lack of a better word.” Roberts’ fashion-crazed character has a two-story closet, filled, fittingly, with Chanel and designer heels, as she doesn’t ever wear flats.

In the show, a devil-dressed killer targets the sorority house, where a tragedy occurred 20 years earlier. Michele, a normally fashion-forward actress, plays nerdy sorority pledge Hester, wearing a neck brace for the role.

At the premiere, Michele donned Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a David Koma dress, while Roberts wore head-to-toe Alexander McQueen.

During the summer, both Michele and Roberts brought their statement shoes while promoting the Fox show at the TCAs. For their “Scream Queens” panel, Michele opted for a pair of pink Christian Loubotin pumps, while Roberts rocked Paul Andrew’s Stanton platform sandals in a deep red suede.

“Scream Queens” will premiere with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
