This week, FN’s sneaker columnist, Stacey Griffith — senior master instructor at SoulCycle and avid sneakerhead — goes for Hogan’s Nuevo Sportivo sneakers. To see her thoughts on the low-top style, read on below:
“This shoe is so sexy. I’m sad it’s not made in 50 colors — it’s that good. The cut, the toe box and the way this shoe resembles the 1990 original New Balance Sneaker will be the key to its popularity!
I think when a brand can place its logo on the shoe once — and BIG — it has more of an impact than covering every corner. Something about that gigantic H on the outside puts the stamp of ‘chic’ where it counts.

Watch on FN
I would rock these with a pair of beat up Balmain jeans and a snarky Milly x Stacey G collab t-shirt from milly.com.
Nice job, Hogan. More colors, pleeeeeeease!”
