Luxe sneaker brand Golden Goose is collaborating with e-tailer Matchesfashion.com on a limited-edition women’s capsule collection.
Launching in November, the exclusive styles will retail for $1,377 and feature customized takes on the brand’s signature Superstar low-top sneaker. Offered in a hand-worn white leather, the styles will be available in a red, blue and rose crystal embellishment. They will be available exclusively on the retailer’s own website.
“We love the Golden Goose Deluxe brand and their super cool aesthetic,” said Cassie Smart, women’s shoe and bag buyer at Matchesfashion.com. “We had global sell-out success with the Crystal Superstar when it was first introduced in spring ’15, so we are excited to partner with them on these exclusive limited edition styles for resort ‘16.”
Golden Goose has offered sneaker collaborations in the past. For fall ’14, it partnered with children’s label Bonpoint on a range of kid’s shoes, including the Superstar low-top and Francy high-top.
