Janet Jackson is back — and she’s putting her best foot forward. The singer has tapped Giuseppe Zanotti to design custom styles for her upcoming Unbreakable World Tour. Jackson is expected to sport styles similar to Zanotti’s wildly popular sneakers in several unique colorways.
“I am thrilled to have been asked by Janet to create the shoes for her tour,” says Zanotti. “She has been a great friend for many years, and I have the utmost respect for her as one of the most iconic and outstanding artists and style icons of our time.”
Jackson recently accepted an Ultimate Icon Award at the BET Awards in June. She has also been lauded as a style icon to many. On her tour, Jackson will be performing songs from her new album — her first in seven years — which is set to drop this fall.
At the BET Awards, Ciara, Jason Derulo and Tinashe performed a tribute to Jackson. She also performed her new single, “No Sleeep.”

“It is a true honor and pleasure to see her wear and enjoy my special creations made for her,” says Zanotti. “We are so excited to see her on tour. I, along with all her fans, are really overjoyed.”
Zanotti has recently designed custom shoes for Rita Ora, and both Nicki Minaj and FKA Twigs have worn his designs for their concerts.
The special-edition shoes will be available for purchase in select Giuseppe Zanotti stores at wholesale outlets during the tour.
