Today in New York City, Jimmy Choo unveiled its 20th Anniversary gift to label loyalists: a blush and gray shagreen bespoke trunk featuring twenty glittering pairs of its most popular shoes plus choice accessories.
Bedazzled pumps, sandals and stilettos and heels favored by the celebrity-set make up the celebratory Memento collection. Think: amped-up versions of red carpet heels favored by Jennifer Lawrence, Sienna Miller and Anne Hathaway, among many other A-listers.
While pieces and styles can be purchased individually, customers can purchase the full she-bang, complete with matching eyewear and evening bags, if they so choose and while quantities last. And if they can afford the price tag, which is expected to clock in at over $70 000. Footwear styles include the bestselling Anouk, Lorelai and Lance.
2016 is already charting to be a big-ticket year for the London-based brand, with a new store opening on the Upper East Side (a few doors down from the current location on Madison Avenue) in April.

Shortly thereafter, another location will bow in Soho on Greene Street. More U.S. openings are planned in the spring for San Francisco, Chicago and King of Prussia, Pa as a part of the company’s North American sales push.
