Christopher Suarez Exits Nicholas Kirkwood After 10 Years

Christopher Suarez, co-founder and CEO of Nicholas Kirkwood, has left the company to pursue other interests, effective Friday, Oct. 30.

After meeting in 2005 at Premiere Classe in Paris, Suarez and Kirkwood worked side by side for the next decade to build the brand.

“I can’t thank Christopher enough for the unequivocal support, energy and passion he invested over the last 10 years. It has been an incredible journey. I wish him all the success he deserves for his future endeavors,” said Nicholas Kirkwood, co-founder and creative director of his eponymous brand.

In September 2013, Kirkwood was acquired by LVMH Fashion Group, and a two-year plan was put into place to prepare the company for the next stage of brand development. Suarez’s departure was planned as part of that strategy.

“My time at Nicholas Kirkwood has been an incredible experience and an unforgettable stage in my life,” Suarez said. “I am grateful to Nicholas for his commitment to the brand and to me personally throughout the years. I couldn’t be more supportive of Nicholas and the team and for the exciting times ahead.”
