Drake Unveils New OVO Jordan Sneakers

As sneakerheads patiently wait for the release of Drake’s Air Jordan 10 OVO edition sneakers to hit stores on Sept. 12, the rapper has now just unveiled his next style of Jordan kicks — the Air Jordan 8s. Drake posted the first up-close and personal images of the OVO 6IX YEAR 8s to his Instagram on Thursday.

His latest collaboration with Jumpman features the very 90s-like silhouette, complete with Michael Jordan’s cross over straps and the OVO owl logo. The sneakers come in white and gold and black and red colorways.

The Air Jordan 8 is one of the most unique Jordans and is a fan favorite among sneakerheads, as it was was released during Jordan’s 1992-93 championship season. He scored his 20,000th point in the Jordan 8 and it was the last Air Jordan shoe the basketball icon wore before retiring for the first time.
