Spring 2016 Style: Bold Heels And Sneakers

High-heeled sandals and sharp sneakers were seen aplenty for spring ’16, inspiring FN’s fashion team to pair the striking styles with an even more vibrant backdrop — Miami’s artful Wynwood neighborhood — and its local talents.

“Our photographer, Bridges Aderhold, has his studio in the heart of Wynwood,” said Fashion Director Mosha Lundström Halbert. “He introduced us to its unique charms and all the cool creatives that make the area so dynamic — including his dog-turned-model, Lola.”

Shot on a typically tropical summer day, the temperatures were no match for the freshly debuted shoes. “There was a great number of on-trend, contemporary men’s sneakers in this shoot,”said Assistant Editor Christian Allaire.“I loved working with all the local guys to find pairs that suited their style. They were all so different.”

“My favorite Wynwood wall is in front of my gallery, Gab Studio,” says Aderhold. “That’s where we paired shoes with an old Volkswagon and my dog, Lola!”
