Shoes That Give Back For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October isn’t just a month for breaking out tall boots and sweaters, it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the shoe industry is on board again to support the cause. We rounded up some styles that don’t just look cool, but also do some good, raising money for breast cancer charities.

Tamara Mellon

Tamara Mellon has debuted a special boot capsule collection that will be donating 10 percent of the sales to Eva Dubin’s Breast Cancer Center at Mount Sinai. The collection includes the Polo boot, Soho bootie and Why Not boot and range from $495 to $675. The collection is available exclusively at TamaraMellon.com.

Shoe Dazzle

Shoe Dazzle has a new pink bootie and matching handbag that gives 100 percent of net proceeds to Susan G. Komen Foundation in Orange County in California. The Esmeralda bootie is $49.95 and the Longton handbag is $45.95.

DNA Footwear

DNA Footwear has teamed up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and will donate $5 for every $100 spent in one of their seven stores in New York, up to $5,000.

Asics

As always, Asics is back with its Accelerate Hope breast cancer collection. This year the Asics Gel-Fit gets the pink treatment with a rose print. The shoe is $80 and $10 of each pair sold will be donated to Christina Applegate’s Right Action for Women, which provides advanced screening help to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer.

Jessica Simpson 

Jessica Simpson’s hot pink platform heels are a part of this season’s FFANY Shoes on Sale presented on QVC. Eighty percent of the sales go directly to benefit breast cancer charities. These hot heels retail at $89.00 but are on sale through QVC for $44.50.
