Must Buy Trend: Sporty Slides For Spring

With warmer weather upon us, it’s finally time to let those toes see sunlight. These sporty slides will have you doing just that while staying on trend.

Designers have embraced the fact that countless consumers are walking around in what we like to refer to as pool slides. You know, those plastic three-stripe Adidas slip-ons or the Nike swoosh version. Friendly on the bank balance, easy to slip into, and perfect for getting wet at the beach or, as the name suggests, by the pool.

We’ve certainly noticed that as the sun starts to show its face, these sporty pool slides are starting to appear more and more frequently on the street.

However, we have to say, we’re rather pleased to see some slightly more dressed-up versions of the design appearing in stores and on e-commerce sites.

From Alexander Wang’s leather-and-mesh version (available in multiple colors) to Acne Studios’ take in metallic leather stripes, there really is something for everyone to embrace in this trend.
